Mr. Fagerholm has an extensive background in entrepreneurship. He has owned several businesses, including a car buying business, a kickboxing studio, a convalescent home, a mortgage company, an escrow company, and a nightclub.
He currently writes articles and blogs, and acts as a commentator for several monthly Internet and hard copy magazines on subjects related to business and legal matters relavent to entrepeneurs. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Biederman Entertainment and Media Institute and is a board member of
New Film Makers LA.
Mr. Fagerholm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Washington and received the Schumacher Scholarship to attend Southwestern Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor and participated in the prestigious accelerated two-year SCALE program.

McDermott, Will & Emory and a boutique entertainment and sports firm prior to co-founding
M.E.T.A.L. Law Group, LLP in 2003.

W. Dan Lee is the Litigation Managing Partner at M.E.T.A.L. His practice is focused on labor & employment, commercial & financial litigation, business disputes, franchise law, church-related litigation, and representing news media and publisher in defamation cases. He was a law clerk and a staff attorney in the Law Department, Commercial Calendar, of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. He has practiced in Illinois, the District of Columbia and California. He is a member of the Federal Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Lee has represented both employers and employees in labor disputes regarding wage claims, wrongful termination, and violations of state and federal labor law. He has tried complex commercial and business matters, and recently, obtained a multi-million dollar settlement based on cross-complaint on the eve of a three-week jury trial in Chicago. Also, he recently obtained a non-suit against plaintiffs seeking 20 million dollars in a defamation action against a newspaper and online publisher in the District of Columbia.
He is known as one of the most prominent trial attorneys for the church-related matters concerning property and control disputes, clergy malpractice and defamation. He has taught church polity of various denominations at seminaries and published and lectured on church-related issues. He has tried over 60 cases representing in both civil and ecclesiastical courts. Most recently, he successfully represented Holy Hill Community Church in the Superior Court of the State of California, which was affirmed on appeal in an action entitled Jun Ki Kim, et al. v. The True Church Member of the Holy Hill Community Church, et al. (2014) 236 Cal. App. 4th 1435. This case is considered one of the most complex church litigations involving civil and ecclesiastical laws concerning property.

Yira Dirocie has extensive experience in the entertainment industry from both the business affairs and licensing perspectives. Her experience includes working in-house for major studios (CBS Studios International & TV Guide), record companies (Sony Music) and animation houses (Dentsu Entertainment).
She has served as Counsel to Dentsu, Inc., a world renowned advertising and marketing agency headquartered in Japan, and to Dentsu's United States entertaiment subsidiary,
Geneon Entertainment, Inc.

Sarah H. Scheinhorn, Esq. - Associate

Sarah H. Scheinhorn joined M.E.T.A.L. Law Group as an associate attorney in 2015. Prior to joining M.E.T.A.L., she practiced at a civil litigation defense firm in San Francisco, focusing on financial services litigation.
Ms. Scheinhorn graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010 with a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2013. During law school she received a CALI Award for excellence in Legal Writing and Research and a Witkin Award for excellence in Antitrust. She also served as the Executive Symposium Editor of the UC Hastings Communications and Entertainment Law Journal.
Ms. Scheinhorn has been a member of the Bar of the State of California since 2013, and has been admitted to practice law before all district courts of California. Omario S. Kanji II, Esq. - Foreign Affiliate Attorney - China

Omario Kanji practices corporate law and advises on business strategy in Beijing, China. Mr. Kanji began his legal career in securities law, assisting Chinese companies to go public on the Hong Kong stock exchange. Mr. Fagerholm is also the founder of Internet Marketing and Branding company Digital Phantom, which specializes in driving and creating new online business leads for customers.
